Blog Hop Day 2!

Welcome back to the Cooking With Cricut Christmas Blog Hop, day 2! I have a fun new project for you- even if I do say so myself ;) This project is utilizes another of the adorable Scrapbookeden.com images- this time Gingerbread House 2009.

For this project- I tried to do something new for me. Shocker! Anyway, I made this candy dish for my desk... Or as a gift. It was really supposed to be a gift for a friend, but then I've really fallen in love with it, so we'll see. lol. Anyway, I used basic cardstock from my stash and then ran all the white, minus the smoke curl through my xyron and added white glitter. The smoke curl got light blue stickles. The gingerbread house is adhered to an acrylic box that used to hold a collectible- the beanie baby had already been given to my daughter a while ago and the box needed a reinvention ;)

Remember to leave a comment to be eligible to win the angel file from scrapbookeden.com and remember to enter & play along with us at www.cookingwithcricut.com!

Cooking with Cricut Holiday Blog Hop!

Welcome to Jenna's Favorite Things and the CookingWithCricut.com Holiday Blog Hop!
If you've come from visiting Kassidy's at Inking it Up Crazy, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our fun hop, you can go to CookingWithCricut.com and start at the beginning. Go HERE.

With the holidays fast approaching we are sharing some wonderful ideas and inspiration for your viewing and crafting pleasure!

Each Design Team member will be featuring an original project made especially for this hop. Make sure to check out each DT member's blog. There will be some prizes along the way as well as a few different ways to win at CookingWithCricut.com!

When I saw this cut file of Melin's, it just screamed Christmas card to me... Maybe not surprising since most of my crafts end up as cards ;) The sentiment is cut at 3.5" and paper used is DCWV & K and Company. The beige layer is Cuttlebugged with polka dots and I used glossy accents on the word Christmas and stickles on the snowflake!

Now, take a look at this adorable file (cut or digi) from www.scrapbookeden.com and make sure and leave a comment for a chance to win it! For a second chance to win, come back tomorrow to see a new project and leave another comment!

Now it's your turn! Let’s see your wonderful holiday projects. Be sure to try and include a Cricut or other die cut machine on your project and link it up at CookingWithCricut.com.
Next stop...Valine's blog, http://www.maddstercreations.blogspot.com/. Go see what she has in store for you today... And when you're done, make sure to head back to CookingWithCricut.com and get entered to win!
