Happy Birthday #3

This card is for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge- a celebration of National Bake and Decorate Month as well as Cardabilities Sketch #12.  I also used random, very old lace from my stash (one of those given to me by a friend who got it from a friend umpteen years ago- $0.98 for 15 yds!) which fulfills the Paper Sundaes Challenge this week. Now I just have to be patient until my grandma's birthday comes in a couple weeks!

Happy Birthday #2

Well, I didn't have the cartridge for this week's challenge at BBTB2, but since they said to play along with any candle cut- I made this card for a co-worker's birthday. I mean, what is more appropriate for a candle cut than a birthday card, right? Ok, maybe it wasn't the most creative application of a candle, but I'm very pleased with how the card turned out. The cuts are from Sweet Treats and I used the star and spots cuttlebug folders. Patterned and colored papers are DCVW and the solid black and cream are unnamed cardstock.

Two Challenges at Once!

This card was created using Sweet Treats and Wild Card and my mosiac & swiss dots cuttlebug folders. It also qualifies for not just one, but two challenges at Cuttlebug Challenges and Cricut Cardz! Its fun for me to stretch my abilities and share these with you.
